A powerful workstation located at the desk creates noise, heat and compromises data security. It drives up break/fix times increasing both operating costs and the number of support staff required. The solution is to ‘back-rack’ the workstation away from the workplace but this has always led to compromise, especially for graphically intensive, mission critical applications.

PC-over-IP® (PCoIP®) eliminates the compromise by providing a security, real time link between the desktop and the back-racked workstation that delivers exceptional performance even across thousands of miles. 

A simple PCoIP system consists of a host card located at or in the back-racked workstation and a zero client at the desktop. The two devices are connected across standard LAN or WAN links using the efficient and secure PCoIP protocol.

The DXHK installs into a free PCIe slot of any workstation and provides support for dual video heads, USB and stereo audio signals. Multiple cards can be installed and linked to provide support for more than two heads of video.
