The connection between the remote DXLT host and desktop
portal is via a standard network connection and provides the user
with an immaculate, uncompromised experience, with full
support for DVI dual monitor video (1920 x 1200), complete USB
compatibility, and full-duplex high-definition audio.

A short adaptor cable (supplied) is used to bridge video across
from the existing graphics card to the DXLT rear panel video
connector. Note: the DXLT only accepts digital video signals.

Host ~ portal pairing is achieved using an intuitive on screen
display and the PC-over-IP link can be optimised for any
operating environment using a Web based utility supplied on CD.

The desktop portal is a 'zero client' having no operating system
to maintain or protect. All USB authorisation is performed 'out of
band' at the portal preventing malicious access to the remote
workstation. Additionally, the portal stores no data which,
together with the 128 bit encrypted PC-over-IP link, makes the
system totally secure for all applications.
