DXR2-iP

Dual-head PC-over-IP Zero Client

Overview

The DXR2-iP is a compact, energy efficient, dual-head PC-over-IP® Zero-client (receiver) designed to be compatible with any of the Amulet Hotkey PC-over-IP Hosts (transmitters).

PC-over-IP (PCoIP®)is an innovative display protocol that eliminates the need for workstations to be located in the working environment. It delivers an uncompromised user experience to each desk, anywhere, without incurring the security risk associated with transmitting data across a network or having data reside in the workplace PCs.

In its simplest form, PCoIP allows you to ‘put your workstations somewhere else.’ Everything else remains the same. Your basic distributed workstation model, server and LAN architecture does not change.

It is ideally suited for Financial applications, Command & Control centers, Militiary and Secure computing applications, CAD / CAM design groups, Utilities, Education, Government, Medical and Industrial Control and Public Services.

All Amulet Hotkey Zero-clients have been certified as compatible with View 4.5tm by VMware. This means that the Zero-client  can now link to any back-racked vitual workstation allowing power users, knowledge workers and administrative staff alike to benefit from the superior performance and enhanced security provided by PCoIP. Thanks to View 4.5 compatibility, the goal of a unified desktop throughout the enterprise is now achievable.

If uptime, power, efficiency, and performance matter in your environment, an Amulet Hotkey  PC-over-IP solution is the best choice.

PC-over-IP and PCoIP are registered trademarks of Teradici Corp.
