The K4vu fully supports any combination of USB, PS/2 and Sun format computers. These are connected to the rear panel using suitable cables sets. A USB, PS/2 or Sun keyboard and mouse can be connected to the K4u front panel.

Channel selection is accomplished using either a three-button mouse, a keyboard hot-key combination, our patented Mouse Point(TM) technology or an optional 4-button controller (see options panel). The K4u's advanced internal system code fully emulates the appropriate keyboard and mouse protocol without relying on OS hot-plug capability. It automatically senses the kind of device attached and configures itself without service interruption.

The K4vu can be used in any secure enviroment where total isolation between the connected computers is required and where keystroke recording is undesirable.
