The MX series of media driver/splitters (also known as vga and audio extender or video distribution system) from Amulet Hotkey provides a flexible solution for serving multiple monitors from a single SVGA video source.

The products are available in single, 2, and 4 channel versions each of which is ideally suited to applications where information must be copied to a number of monitors using low cost twisted pair cable.

Up to 5 MX4s can be daisy-chained to give up to 20 channels of distribution.

High quality SVGA video and audio can be driven up to 200m* over Category 5, 5e & 6 cable with support for video resolutions up to and including 1280 X 1024 at refresh rates of 75Hz*.
The drivers each have a 'local loop through' allowing the connection of a local monitor and speakers. Alternatively, the local loop through can be used to cascade several units making it possible to copy a signal across as many as 64 displays.
