Rackmount KVM Extenders are a high-density solution to provide remote access to PC’s, laptops and workstations where it is not possible, or desirable, to install a Remote Workstation PCIe Card or workstation access software. The DXR-H4 KVM Extender provides a non-intrusive remoting solution for workstations with demanding security and graphics requirements.

    The DXR-H4 KVM Extender solution can be used to provide remote access to workstations with demanding graphics requirements including:

    • Secured workstation, laptop or closed system where it is not possible to install 3rd party software and there is no physical access to the workstation PCIe bus slots.

    External connection only using standard cables
    The DXR-H4 KVM Extender cards are completely non-intrusive: pc’s, laptops and workstations are connected using only standard external cables. There is no remote access software required on the host workstation, so DXR-H4 cards can be used to remote any PC, workstation or legacy system with digital video outputs, USB keyboard/mouse inputs and stereo audio output/microphone inputs.

    The DXR-H4 uses KVM-over-IP technology based on the industry standard Teradici PCoIP remote display protocol. Users can connect over standard IP networks locally, from any meeting room, from home, across the country or continent-to-content.     The DXiP Rack is designed and manufactured for mission and business critical environments with features such as chassis dual redundant power supplies. The DXR-H4 and DXT-H4 support quad displays up to 1920×1200 resolution or dual displays up to 2560×1600.

  • Ultra-high security

    Send display pixels not user/application data
    Protect corporate or government information by moving workstations into a data center. The DXR-H4 KVM Extender card keeps sensitive information within the data center and only sends encrypted display pixels to client endpoints.

    Split power supply option for power grid segmentation
    A split power supply configuration option where slots 1-6 use PSU A while slots 7-12 use PSU B as a security option to ensure any card can only be fed from a single AC outlet and power supply unit.

    Secure zero client endpoints
    When using Amulet Hotkey zero clients, the connection can be secured with advanced security algorithms such as 256-bit AES and NSA Suite B cryptography – used by governments to protect classified information.

  • Flexible zero client and mobile remote access client endpoint options

    Use Amulet Hotkey zero clients for the best performance and highest security client solution. While software clients may not provide the same level of performance, they provide the ability to connect from mobile devices such as laptops, tablets or smartphones.

DXR-H4 KVM Extender Host Card

The DXR-H4 is a KVM Extender based on KVM-over-IP technology using the industry standard PCoIP protocol. The DXR-H4 is designed to remote PCs, laptops, workstations and closed systems that cannot have PCIe cards or remote access software installed. With no drivers or software required on the host workstation, the DXT-H4 can provide remote access for any PC or workstation (Windows, Linux, Mac) with digital video outputs, USB keyboard/mouse inputs and stereo audio output/microphone inputs.
