Quad High-Resolution or Octal Display Configuration Solution Options

The DXZ4 features two PCoIP imaging engines for up to 250 million pixels per second (Mpps) imaging performance, driving up to four high-resolution displays for demanding video or 3D graphics transmitted from remote workstations, virtual workstations, or virtual desktop. With nearly 2x imaging performance of the DXZC, the DXZ4 may provide additional benefit for in dual-display configurations as well.

For customers with a requirement for eight displays (octal), Amulet Hotkey has developed a unique solution to using two quad display KVM Extender cards and two quad display DXZ4 clients to deliver either octal 1080p or support quad high-resolution displays at a single remote workstation.

Quad display configurations above 1920 x 1200 resolution

  • Use two DXZ4 clients for quad display configurations up to 3840x2160 when connecting to an Amulet Hotkey KVM Extender host/PCIe card.
  • Use two DXZ4 clients for quad display configurations up to 3840x2160 when connecting to virtual desktops using VMware Horizon.
  • Supported by CoreStation WM640 equipped with two single-slot, quad head DXM mezzanine PCIe cards.

Octal display configurations up to 1920 x 1200 resolution

  • Use two DXZ4 clients for octal display configurations up to 1920 x 1200 when connecting to an Amulet Hotkey KVM Extender host/PCIe card.
  • Supported by CoreStation WM640 equipped with two single-slot, quad head DXM mezzanine PCIe cards.
